Details on When Will Disney Magic Key Be Available?
First things first: Magic Keys are available to everyone, no matter where you reside! Whether you are a local Californian or an intergalactic traveler, if you've got the magic in you, there is a pass with your name on it. 🌍✨
However, there are a couple of strict rules to keep in mind:
The Imagine Key is exclusively designed for Southern California residents (living in zip codes 90000 to 93599).
Out-of-state and non-local guests can grab any of the other three keys (Explore, Believe, and Inspire).
Payment Plans: California residents can take advantage of monthly payment plans after a $99 down payment, but out-of-state magic-seekers will need to pay the full amount upfront. 💸💫
Heads up for parents: kiddos aged 2 and under get a free pass to the magic, but once they hit the big 3, it's time for a key of their own. If your little one levels up to 3 during your Magic Key reign, just swing by a main entrance ticket booth to get them sorted, as this transaction can't happen online. 🎈🧚♂️
Magic Key Pricing & Tiers (Updated for 2026)
Disneyland officially raised pass prices and completely replaced the old Enchant Key with a brand-new option designed to give you more summer access. Here is how the current lineup and pricing look:
Imagine Key: $599.00 (SoCal Residents Only)
Explore Key: $999.00 (New tier that officially replaced the Enchant Key!)
Believe Key: $1,474.00
Inspire Key: $1,899.00
🌟 What's the deal with the new Explore Key? > Disneyland retired the old $974 Enchant Key and debuted the Explore Key for $999. The best part? It rewards you with expanded summer availability, giving passholders about 40 extra open days across June and July that used to be completely blocked out!
Perks, Parking, and Blockouts
As you climb the tiers, the perks get sweeter:
Imagine & Explore Keys: Come with a 25% discount on parking, valid specifically at the Toy Story parking lot.
Believe Key: Doubles down on the savings with a 50% discount on standard theme park parking.
Inspire Key: The ultimate pass, which includes free standard theme park parking! 🚗✨
Note: Believe and Inspire holders can use their parking perks at the Toy Story lot, Pixar structure, and Mickey & Friends structure, but the Downtown Disney lot is excluded from these discounts.
Of course, like any great tale, there are blockout dates sprinkled in. The more affordable the Magic Key, the more dates are restricted. The Imagine Key blocks out weekends and peak seasons, while the top-tier Inspire Key only takes a brief break during the height of the Christmas holidays.
